At last the USPS comes lumbering along. It’s behind, but it’s in motion, which is good news. This is an announcement by the department which audits USPS activities. It will examine current and past services and make recommendations. We understand that much work has already been done. Hopefully, the USPS will spend a fair amount of time focusing on making it flexible, accessible with a minimum of bureaucratic requirements, and above all international, where we believe the greatest opportunities lie. Look to the current and potential sources of mail!
I recently tried hybrid mail for a domestic marketing piece, using a vendor who mailed via USPS. Price was good, quality was good, response has met targets to date. International prices are not as good.
The possibilities offered for design directly by the USPS (https://uspsdmhub.com/home.aspx) are too limited when using their DIY option. I would love to see them add non-window envelopes with a company logo. Competitive prices for international and those envelopes would get me as a customer.
