This lengthy, but very accessible, review of W3W by Mike Dobson of Telemapics is worthwhile reading, especially if you are a newcomer to the the address world. In fact, it is a very brief and “long-range” introduction to the geolocation representation challenge, and some of the solutions already found.
The piece minimizes but does not eliminate the use of professional jargon, although it does stick its nose up a bit here and there. Having Google Words open in another window should speed comprehension and pay fast dividends.
At the opening, the author suggest that you can get the main point by scrolling down to what I would call the “real-life application scenario” that completes the piece. It will also give you a chuckle.
Happy New Year and may 2016 bring the world closer together.
